i remember being woken up at 9 in the morning coz someone had flown a plane into one of the towers and mom thought i should watch. i thought it was tragically funny, some random pilot lost his way and accidentally hit a tower. then the other plane hit.

5 years ago, and it still feels recent and surreal. but, regardless, i remember.
