i went to see da vinci code with carolyn last night. the movie is as bad if not worse than the book, with the oft-cited exception of Ian McKellan who is frikkin' fantastic. And Paul Bettany is also good, although it was weird seeing him in the role of Silas. He's usually much more upbeat and nice about life. :)

in other news, carolyn! She isn't dead and she hasn't run away to join the circus, so banish the thought. We had a long conversation about stuff and life and wtf she's been doing for the last few months.

other than that, i've got nothing to say.

yeah, i didn't really enjoy the book too much. dan brown has a good topic, but his writing was...not bestest ever. not good enough for me to put it on "favorite book list," which half the world's facebook population has done.
