back at stanford.

weekend was good. weird, but good. getting back from sjc was interesting; my flight out of louisiana was delayed 2.5 hrs, so i missed my connection in houston, which meant that i was flying standby to sjc, and didn't have anyone to come pick me up. so i got trapped in a van with this really random guy... who drove rather scarily. and overcharged me.

the guy i went down to visit was driving to houston that morning after he dropped me off at the airport. due to the delays, he got to houston a good 45 minutes earlier than i did. ironically, i think i would have made my original flight had i driven with him.

i need to graduate. and get a job.

ten things meme

ten things that i've done that you probably haven't...

1. born and grew up in Saudi Arabia.
2. been to 21 different countries.
3. excavated part of the Roman Forum.
4. learned the runes from "The Hobbit."
5. beat my brother at Scrabble. Once.
6. handled and catalogued actual ancient Greek and Roman coins
7. left a light board in the middle of a show to console a friend. (i did pass the board over to the ald, but still)
8. watched American Pie I and II and American Wedding with my parents.
9. saw The Two Towers in a theater twice within 12 hours on the day it opened with different people. Did the same for ROTK.
10. had a Friday turn into a Tuesday. (went on a retreat friday afternoon, stayed thru sunday afternoon, instead of going home, drove down to monterey and stayed for two days...)

i figured i'd better jump on the bandwagon.. ;)
