You are looking for someone sweet, intelligent, and
understanding. Although he may have big
troubles to overcome, with you by his side this
wolfman will at least have a non-judgmental,
loving romance.

That doesn't count. Happy thoughts have to be something, not just the absence of something. I therefore whine at you. *whine*

Oh, not being on a plane so counts! It's a really really nice feeling, especially if you've been doing a lot of flying.

That's very true. *sighs contentedly* Planes can really suck. They tend to hurt my back for some reason.

mine too, which is why i say that not being on a plane is a happy thought. besides, this way, i know where i am, and i'm not off trying to find somewhere to land or whatever. everything's still up in the air, just not me. ;)

::hands you some cheese to go with the whine::

I don't know. If I've been hurting for the past day or two and it stops for whatever reason (drugs started working, body healed itself, etc.) that's definitely cause for celebration in my book. It's the same as being done with a project that's been looming over your head for the last month - lack of something, also cause for partying like it's 1999.

*eats cheese* ... mmmm.... cheese

That's a pretty good point. I'd just rather she'd described her comfortable bed or fresh air or something. Y'know, a happy thought I can more easily share.
Besides, I tend to dislike couching things in negative terms. For instance, I prefer to emphasize the leisure and family activities I'll be doing over break rather than the school activities I won't be doing.

pay no attention to adam. LJ is a purely voluntary activity, and not being on a plane, not being cold, and not being jobless are all excellent happy thoughts :)

Maybe, but being on the ground, being nice and warm, and having a job are even better, happier thoughts! :)
