in deference to black, i'll stop posting happy thoughts for the day. i'll also stop recounting my wonderful days at work.

instead, i will leave you with this thought: i got a job offer from google.

[edit, just for Jenwa, 306pm EST:] and the happy thought for the day is unpacking books that one hasn't seen in months. it's sort of like christmas a month and a half early.
